PROGRAM & OBJECTIVES Landscaping of a square and a square by the sea (with a bowling alley). The project is being built on the border of 4 territories: – A granite coast – A polder won from the sea – Brest harbor – And vegetated hollow spaces (valleys or rias).
FEATURES The two developments (plaza and square) include a mineral treatment of the beach edges, with a dry pedestrian path. The evolving urban development forms a base, a receptacle for future greenhouses, and a place that can be transformed into a protected play area. The project unifies a set of urban fragments. It follows the winning Europan 5 project in Brest.HQE approach Development of the seaside
