Sport and Leisure Center

Fontaine de vaucluse (84)

The project is an extension of the current building (former spinning mill) and the renovation of it. The Departmental Outdoor and Leisure Center (CDPAL) of Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, located at the southwest entrance to the town, is located in a narrow strip of land between an arm of La Sorgue to the north and the D24 and the wooded hills to the South. The project will reveal the site by developing the views towards the Sorgue, by greening the surroundings and the parking lot, by building an extension which blends into the landscape with delicacy and humility (wooden siding and joinery, green roof, etc.) The objective of the project is to rehabilitate what currently exists today to meet current standards (disabled people, kitchen, thermal, comfort) and to improve the functioning of the center by creating an extension. This project will allow the continuity of current operations and a diversification of clienteles.

Environmental project The integration of environmental concerns is prioritized by applying the triptych avoid > reduce > compensate. It is also about favoring action at the source and using the best available and economically acceptable technologies.
