Geometry is originally the branch of mathematics studying the figures of the plane and space (Euclidean geometry). Since the end of the 18th century, geometry also studies figures belonging to other types of spaces (projective geometry, on Euclidean geometry for example).
Geography studies the natural environment in the space of societies.
The soil
Soil extends the domain of architecture to urban planning, and to landscaping. It includes all dimensions and site materials.

The first gesture
The first gesture of the nomad who arrives in a new place is to define a perfectly flat surface to settle on, eat and sleep. This simple act of creating a level surface forms the foundation of architecture and landscape design. From this basic need to create a comfortable living space, the evolution of design has taken many different forms and styles, but the fundamental concept remains the same.

The human
arrangement
Like the surveyor, the architect composes, quantifies the dimensions of a space, of a place. It structures the arrangement of the buildings between them on a drawn support ground.
The relationship with the site
The angular geometric order of Western thought and the complexity of Asian thought (Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism) that marks the difference between Western and Eastern architecture. The first is a redesign of the site while the second is produced by the site.
