School of 21 classes Marseille (13)

Marseille (13)

PROGRAM & OBJECTIVES
The project expands the existing school to accommodate a preschool (7 classrooms), an elementary school (14 classrooms), and shared facilities for both schools: a motor skills room, a multipurpose room, a cafeteria, and facilities for after-school and adult activities. The playgrounds are designed as "Oasis" playgrounds, promoting "outdoor learning." A shared media library is open to the neighborhood.

CHARACTERISTICS
The project addresses the program's objectives: - Clear urban legibility, open to the neighborhood - A sensitive and evolving landscape environment - A strong respect for the original architecture designed by René Egger - Functional legibility and fluid organization - Bioclimatic architecture adapted to the Mediterranean climate.
