PROGRAM & OBJECTIVES Definition of new urban areas in the mountains, design of the heart of the Chamrousse Olympique resort – Le Recoin The project rebalances the structuring functions of the municipality and diversifies the tourist offer between the different seasons. Installed on the slopes or buried seedlings, this equipment frees up the heart of the station which becomes a pedestrian esplanade. Access to the station is redesigned according to users. A public car park welcomes visitors at the entrance to the town.
FEATURES This project reinvents the city center magnified by built projects or public spaces with belvederes, balconies over the horizon of the Vercors plateaus. Regaining the summer relationship with the mountain pastures is an urgent necessity, the meadow must regain its rights and erase the impact of technical ski installations and embankments. In winter, the city/nature overlap is exacerbated. The city turns white and blends into the mountain landscape.Tourism development
